Scrivener's Moon

Set in a post-apocalyptic Britain, the novel follows Fever Crumb, a young woman raised by the Scriven mutants, as she returns home after two years to find that her mother's creation, New London a massive city on wheels is nearly complete and preparing to wage war against the nomad tribes of Britain. As an army of mammoth-riders gathers to attack the city, Fever journeys to the northern wastelands to uncover the ancient birthplace of the Scriven and discover the truth about her own mysterious origins. The story explores themes of technology, mutation, and survival in a fractured world where ancient knowledge holds the key to the future.
