Description

Wolf Captured continues the story of Firekeeper, a young woman raised by the Royal Wolves who communicate through their own spoken language, and her wolf companion Blind Seer. The two are kidnapped by the Liglimosh, a group of people who want Firekeeper to teach them how to communicate with their own sentient animals. The book follows Firekeeper and Blind Seer as they navigate this unfamiliar culture while trying to find their way back home. This is the ninth book in Jane Lindskold's "Through Wolf's Eyes" series.

Quick Summary

Firekeeper's incredible ability to speak with wolves, gained from being raised among them, creates a fascinating world where the bond between human and animal feels genuinely magical and extraordinary. Readers will love watching this tough, wolf-savvy heroine outsmart her kidnappers using her sharp instincts and the help of her telepathic wolf friend Blind Seer in a story full of survival challenges and unexpected alliances. If your kid loves the animal communication and fierce loyalty in Erin Hunter's Warriors series or the strong, independent protagonists in Tamora Pierce's fantasy adventures, they'll be completely absorbed by this. Ideal for readers ages 12 and up who crave animal fantasy with real heart, action, and a heroine they can root for.
