About this book
The book is about a severe drought on cattle ranches where months without rain have dried up the grass and water wells, leaving cattle with nothing to eat or drink. Ranchers face the difficult decision to sell their cattle. The story explores whether cowboys, unlike Indigenous peoples who might perform rain dances, could somehow make it rain to save their ranch and livestock.
