A Scholar of Magics

Samuel Lambert, a skilled marksman, is invited to the mysterious Glasscastle to contribute his shooting abilities to a secret project, expecting only British snobbery and social formalities. He encounters a mild-mannered don who is heir to powerful magical abilities, while the story unfolds through secret weapons, motor cars, mysterious assaults, and abductions involving thugs in bowler hats. This sequel to "College of Magics" combines elements of intrigue and magical powers in an English setting.
