Humphrey, Albert, and the Flying Machine

In this retelling of the Sleeping Beauty tale, two brothers named Humphrey and Albert fall asleep at Princess Briar Rose's enchanted party and wake up nearly one hundred years later, only to discover the entire royal court is still under a sleeping curse. The brothers refuse to break the curse with a kiss and set off to find a handsome prince, but instead encounter Daniel Bernoulli, an inventor who has built a flying machine. The story explores whether an ordinary inventor can accomplish what only a prince was supposed to do and break the enchantment.
