Let's Explore, Moose!

A hungry moose and her growing baby look for food through the spring, summer, fall, and winter seasons. The mother moose teaches her baby important survival skills, including swimming in the lake, identifying the best grasses and twigs to eat, and finding tasty mushrooms. During the winter, the baby learns how to find food beneath the snow and how to avoid dangerous predators like wolves. By the end of the book, the baby moose has learned the skills needed to eventually live independently in the forest.
