Description
The book follows Konrad Reichmann, a devoted member of the Hitler youth movement who becomes disillusioned with the Third Reich after experiencing the horrors of the Russian Front during World War II. When the slaughter of innocent civilians opens his eyes to the true nature of the Nazi regime, Konrad must decide whether to act on his conscience and risk everything. The story explores themes of moral awakening and the dangers of standing against tyranny during one of history's darkest periods.
