About this book
Ghost Voyages II: The Matthew follows Jeremy, a stamp-traveller who uses collectible stamps to journey through time, as he is sent back to 1497 to board the ship Matthew with explorer John Cabot. On the voyage Jeremy assists Cabot in claiming Newfoundland for England and encounters another adventurer who shares his ability to travel through time. The book combines historical facts about Cabot's historic crossing with a fantasy element of stamp-based time travel and is written for middle-grade readers (reading level 4.7).
