A Child's Christmas in Scarborough

Set in the suburban town of Scarborough during a contemporary Christmas, the novel follows a young narrator and his extended family as they gather for the holiday. The plot describes the family crowding into a living room, drinking punch, and the children searching for presents. The narrative also recounts winter activities such as making angels in the snow and sledding down snow-covered slopes. The events provide a snapshot of a modern family Christmas in the suburbs.
