Matt Sprouts and the Curse of the Ten Broken Toes

Twelve-year-old Matt Sprouts accidentally injures his neighbor Jenna and becomes convinced he has contracted "the Curse," a hometown myth believed to ruin the lives of middle schoolers. Set in a suburban American town, the story follows Matt as he navigates the challenges of starting middle school while trying to defeat the Curse through solving its mystery. Along the way, he must manage his little brother, join the soccer team, and avoid breaking any more toes, all while dealing with references to bullying.
