Drop: An Adventure Through the Water Cycle

"Drop: An Adventure through the Water Cycle" by Emily Kate Moon follows Drop, a personified water droplet who is four and a half billion years old, as she travels through the water cycle. The story depicts Drop flowing through various stages including falling as rain, moving through rivers and oceans, and evaporating into clouds. The book, aimed at lower elementary students, presents scientific information about how water moves through the environment while showing Drop's encounters with different landscapes and creatures throughout history.
