A Clash of Steel: A Treasure Island Remix

Two intrepid girls hunt for a legendary treasure on the deadly high seas in this YA remix of the classic adventure novel Treasure Island. Set in 1826 during the final days of the golden age of piracy, the story follows Xiang, who seeks to prove herself while searching for the lost treasure of the infamous Dragon Fleet. The fleet's former leader, a woman known only as the Head of the Dragon, has become a legendary figure from Xiang's childhood, and she desperately wants to prove her worth to her mother, a shrewd businesswoman. The novel features themes of gender bias, with characters facing dangerous challenges and criminal activity during their maritime adventure.
