Description
Ahab Goldstein is a seventh-grader living in a dystopian Maine where the environment has become toxic and a corrupt Environmental Police Force controls access to natural resources. When Ahab and his friends discover a live bullfrog on an island in the toxic harbor a seemingly impossible find in their ruined world they embark on a bike journey to Canada to find help. The story follows their adventure as they navigate a world where even the smallest creatures are considered fragile and valuable.
