Dear Ballerina

The book follows a young girl who loves dancing and practices various ballet moves including stretching, posing, pointing her toes, swirling, twirling, and leaping every day. She writes a letter to her favorite ballerina expressing her dream of becoming a dancer just like her. The story culminates when the girl gets to perform in a ballet alongside the ballerina she admires. The illustrations show behind-the-scenes views of a ballet setting, including a practice room.
