Juliet is settling into life at Mission Beach, where she's joined the Starry Beach Club with her friends Emma and Carmen. The three friends spend their time at the local bookmobile, dreaming up ways to grant wishes for people in their town. When they discover the bookmobile is about to close because the owners can't afford the rent, they decide to organize a fund-raising craft fair to save it. This is a story about friendship, community, and the power of taking action to help others.

Quick Summary

If your kid loved the first book in this series, they'll be thrilled to dive into this one where Juliet finally feels like she belongs, and the friendship stuff really takes center stage. It's a sweet, beachy middle grade read with a mix of humor and heart perfect for kids who love stories about friendship, making wishes, and that whole "found my people" feeling. There's some emotional depth here too, especially around what it means to really trust people and let them in, which makes it a nice pick for readers who like their books to hit them right in the feelings. The writing is super accessible and flows quickly, so even reluctant readers tend to breeze through it without getting bogged down. Parents will appreciate that it's wholesome and positive without being preachy just a genuinely fun story about a girl figuring out where she fits.
