Jessie the Lonely Puppy

The story follows Chloe and her brother Will, who have a puppy named Jessie. When Will breaks his leg and must stay in the hospital for a week, no one is available to play with the puppy or take her for walks. Although Chloe is initially afraid of the little dog, she must overcome her fear to care for Jessie. The book explores whether Chloe and Jessie can become friends despite Chloe's fear.
