Water Belly, the Little Cloud

Water Belly, the Little Cloud is a bilingual story that follows a small, traveling cloud as it journeys across the sky until it reaches a town suffering from a severe drought. The cloud, called Water Belly, decides to release its stored rain to fill the town's empty wells, providing the residents with much-needed water and renewed hope. The narrative follows Water Belly alongside the town's people, especially the children who witness its arrival, and it is set against a parched, dusty landscape. The book is aimed at early readers in grades K-3 and presents its simple, rhyming text in two languages.
