Thumbeline (North-South Books)

Thumbeline is a tiny girl no bigger than a thumb, the main character of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale. She is carried away by a toad and travels through fields and woods, meeting a frog family, a moth, a beetle, and other animals. During her adventures she interacts with various animals while trying to find a way back to her home.
