About this book
Locked Inside by Nancy Werlin is about Marnie Skyedottir, a 16-year-old heiress whose famous father was killed in a plane crash years earlier. Attending an exclusive boarding school where she feels isolated and oppressed, Marnie escapes into an online adventure game, where she begins chatting with another player known as the Elf. Through her online relationship and her struggle to connect with those around her, Marnie must confront her tendency to close herself off from real-world relationships.
