Quick Summary

Think school rehearsals, a goofy grandma, and a secret ninja gadget that turns ordinary kids into makeshift heroes that's what you get in "Ninja Heroes!". Nelson and Kenny have to practice for the school play, but when Grandma's latest invention shows up, they end up battling a series of chaotic mishaps that feel like a cartoon ninja showdown. The story balances classroom drama with silly, over-the-top action, and the short chapters keep the pace moving, making it perfect for kids who like a quick laugh and a little adventure. Parents will be glad to know it's otherwise clean, with just one mild swear word that pops up unexpectedly. If your child enjoys the slap-stick humor and easy-to-read format of "The Bad Guys" or the mischievous school-day vibes of "My Weird School," they'll probably love this one. At around 6,400 words, it's a great bridge for readers who are transitioning from picture books to chapter books, and the ninja theme adds just enough excitement to keep them turning pages.
