Warlock Watson

In "Warlock Watson" by Dick King-Smith, young Sam Watson becomes convinced he is a warlock after discovering that magic rhymes bring him luck, from getting a new washing machine for his mother to helping his father get time off work and scoring the winning goal for a friend at football. Despite receiving warnings about the dangers of magic, Sam decides to cast one final spell to prove his warlock abilities. The story follows Sam as he discovers whether his final wish will bring him good fortune or backfire unexpectedly.
