The League of Unexceptional Children

Twelve-year-olds Jonathan and Shelley are two perfectly average and forgettable children who are recruited by the League of Unexceptional Children, a covert organization that uses unexceptional children for secret missions. When the Vice President of the United States is kidnapped along with an important code, Jonathan and Shelley must use their perfectly average abilities to save him. The book is set in present-day America and is the first in a middle-grade adventure series.
