The Flooded Earth

Forty years after a devastating flood transformed Earth's surface, twins Will and Annalie must navigate a world divided between flood-damaged slums and the strict Admiralty-controlled boarding school where Annalie now lives. When the Admiralty raids their father's workshop and threatens Annalie at school, the siblings team up with unlikely allies and a technologically enhanced parrot to cross an ocean and find their missing father. This first book in a middle grades series contains violence.
