Description
Bill, a young character who wishes for someone to talk to, is surprised when a giant begins entering his room through the door, starting with a huge bottom and followed by legs, arms, and chest. The story follows each body part as it arrives until the giant is finally in one piece. Once complete, the giant and Bill have plenty to talk about. The book is illustrated by Mike Phillips and is a traditional story for beginning readers at reading level 1.8.
Quick Summary
The silly premise of a giant bottom bursting through someone's front door is exactly the kind of wacky humor that makes kids giggle from the first page. They'll be laughing at the unexpected comedy while also rooting for Bill to find a friend who actually stays. If your kid likes the zany storytelling of "The Foot Book" by Dr. Seuss, they'll crack up at this. Perfect for kindergarten through second graders, especially kids just starting to read on their own.
