About this book
Ishmael and the Return of the Dugongs follows Ishmael as he returns to St. Daniel's for another school year, aiming to win the affection of his dream girl Kelly. Things get messy when he suffers a humiliating pool mishap, a knockout, and gets caught with Kelly's diary, and his friend Razz urges him to ask his dad's rock band, The Dugongs, and its poetry for help. The book is a sequel to Don't Call Me Ishmael, aimed at middle-grade readers, and includes some swearing.
