Description

On a field trip to the museum, Reese encounters two medieval knights who've mysteriously come to life and landed in modern-day Looney Bay. When Reese's team faces off against their rivals, the Trinity Maurauders, the knights get swept up in the action. As the lacrosse game heats up, Reese discovers these dueling knights might be just what his team needs to win.

Quick Summary

Two knights, Sir Hugh and Sir Waverly, suddenly find themselves in modern-day Looney Bay and are thrust into a chaotic lacrosse match that feels like a mash-up of a medieval tournament and a beach-side sports day. The story is packed with goofy knightly antics think shields used as sticks and armor that clanks through the sand making it a laugh-out-loud read for kids who love humor and quick-moving plots. It's especially good for reluctant readers who want a short chapter book that still feels action-packed, and for any child who enjoys "what-if" time-travel scenarios mixed with sports. Parents can rest easy knowing the scary moments are mostly harmless pratfalls and the book quietly weaves in lessons about teamwork and adapting to new situations. If your kid liked the mix of history and humor in Magic Tree House but wanted something sillier and more fast-paced, this one fits the bill.
