Emil's Clever Pig

Emil Smeplass may look innocent, but trouble follows him everywhere he goes. In this collection of short stories, the mischievous Swedish boy attempts to teach his pet pig to dance, gets chased by a mad cow, and wrestles a robber often leaving chaos in his wake. Adults, animals, and his long-suffering little sister never know what mishap awaits them next. Astrid Lindgren captures the wildly imaginative world of a boy whose good intentions always seem to lead to hilarious disaster.
