The Derby Match

"The Derby Match" by Tom Watt is about two school football teams competing against each other in a derby match. The story follows the Jags, a team whose players must deal with the conflict of competing against their own friends who go to the rival school. Set in a middle school environment, the book explores themes of friendship and loyalty when team members find themselves on opposite sides of a competitive sports event.
