Description

At St. Sebastian's School, a seemingly ordinary head-lice outbreak takes a terrifying turn when the nits are reanimated by the lingering spirits of a medieval plague pit. A group of middle-grade students must team up with the school's quirky ghost, Edith Codd, to stop the zombie nits from spreading across the campus. As the school sinks further into the cursed grounds, the kids race against time to uncover the source of the curse and find a way to send both the ghosts and the undead parasites back to rest.

Quick Summary

Here's a book that'll make you itch just thinking about it. "Attack of the Zombie Nits" takes the nightmare of head lice at school and turns it into a hilarious zombie apocalypse, complete with kids trying to stop a plague of undead nits. It's got that perfect mix of gross-out humor and school adventure that middle graders love, and at around 15,000 words it's a quick, satisfying read even for reluctant readers. Parents will appreciate that it's genuinely funny without being mean-spirited, though there's enough zombie action to satisfy kids who like a little scare with their comedy. If your kid enjoys the humor in "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" or the scary-but-fun vibe of "Goosebumps," this one's right up their alley.
