About this book
"Pass the Ball!" by Debbie White is part of the Oxford Reading Tree: Treetops series, written for children aged 7-11 who need carefully monitored language levels. The story follows Tommy, who is embarrassed when his Grandad arrives at football practice wearing his old kit. However, Tommy's team soon discovers that Grandad has valuable skills and tricks to share. The book is designed to be accessible, motivating, and humorous while teaching children about teamwork and not judging people by their appearance.
