About this book
The Bongleweed is a fast-growing plant that Becky and Jason must stop from taking over their village. When Becky tricks Jason into sprinkling Bongleweed seeds in Pew Gardens, a massive jungle of the weed quickly emerges with no signs of stopping. The story is aimed at middle grade readers (grades 4-8) and was written by Helen Cresswell, who has been twice BAFTA-nominated for her television adaptations.
