The Children's Bach

Athena and Dexter live a quiet, insular family life with their young child, whose needs shape their daily routine. When Elizabeth, a woman from Dexter's past, arrives with her three lively companions, she pulls the couple out of their comfortable rut and introduces them to a world of casual egotism and chaos. The story follows the couple as they navigate the tension between their ordinary life and the alluring, disruptive influence of Elizabeth's circle, confronting assumptions about happiness and responsibility. It contains some offensive language, including ableist remarks.
