The Long Red Scarf

"The Long Red Scarf" is about a grandfather who wants a long, bright red scarf, but his female relatives are too busy with their own work to make it for him. The story takes place on a farm where the women are occupied with tasks like driving cows and building a crib. Frustrated by their refusals, Grandfather decides to learn to knit the scarf himself.
