Description

The book is set in a post-apocalyptic world after a nuclear Holocaust called the Great White. Elspeth, a young woman who has lived in orphanages, discovers she has psychic abilities she desperately tries to hide in order to obtain a certificate of normalcy. When her powers are discovered, she is exiled to Obernewtyn, where she meets other outcasts with similar abilities and uncovers dark secrets about the overlords who control their fate. This is the first book in the Obernewtyn Chronicles.
