About this book
The book follows Cricket, a HiveWing dragonet growing up in the hives, who has many questions about her world including why trees are forbidden and why her parents seem to dislike her. The most dangerous mystery is why Cricket is immune to Queen Wasp's powers, which allow the queen to control all HiveWings by speaking through their mouths and seeing through their eyes. This is the twelfth book in the Wings of Fire series and is intended for middle grade readers.
