Description
Small ranchers in Harmony, Oregon, struggle to survive as cattle prices drop while Skull Ranch, owned by a syndicate, attempts to buy them out. Dan Riley spends a month trying to find a bank willing to help the ranchers but fails in his efforts. When the editor of the local newspaper is shot, the ranchers blame Black Mike Sand, the manager of Skull Ranch, despite questionable circumstances. Riley then sets out to discover who is actually behind the syndicate.
