Climbing Strong

Thirteen-year-old Mike Gordon cannot resist a dare, and when he climbs the school flagpole, he gets into trouble at school and with his parents. His parents are usually preoccupied with his younger sister, who has muscular dystrophy. When a family friend introduces him to rock climbing, Mike finds an outlet for his thrill-seeking behavior and perhaps a way to get his parents to pay more attention to him.
