Quick Summary

If you're looking for a mystery that will keep you turning pages long past bedtime, this one hooks you right from the start. Livy's determination to uncover the truth about her best friend's death drives the whole story, and the way she pieces together clues while navigating grief and friendship makes it feel real and raw. Readers who love thrillers with strong emotional depth will probably connect with this the most it has that suspenseful quality where you genuinely don't know where the story is heading until the very end. There's definitely some heavy stuff here since it deals with loss and the question of suicide versus murder, so it's probably best for older teens who can handle that kind of weight. Fans of books like *We Were Liars* by E. Lockhart or anything by Karen M. McManus might appreciate this one for similar reasons. The length is substantial, but the fast pacing makes it worth the commitment.
