Flight of the Battered Budgie

A mysterious Egyptian amulet turns ordinary Joe into a guardian of undead pets, giving him the strange job of helping departed animals finish their unfinished business. The latest creature on his list is Buddy, a budgie who crashed into a window and now needs Joe's help to stop a devious scheme that puts Buddy's owner in danger. To let Buddy finally fly on to the other side, Joe must untangle the plot and protect the people he cares about. Fast-paced and lightly spooky, the story blends humor and adventure as a young hero navigates a world of zombie pets.
