Monkey and Me

Nine-year-old Beanie is coping with leukemia treatment while trying to join his big brother's gang, so he sets out to prove his bravery. In a run-down house he discovers a young chimpanzee who knows sign language, and Beanie and his friends decide to hide and protect the animal. Their promise to safeguard the chimp draws them into a dangerous chase as mysterious men hunt for Malcolm, putting their friendship and safety on the line.
