Off You Go!

In a violent thunderstorm a local farmer watches a meteor crash into his field and a strange creature emerge. Soon after, while on a hunting trip, the creature attacks former Army veteran Dale Charles and his longtime friend Brecht Morehouse, killing Brecht and sending Dale to prison despite a lack of evidence. With the creature still on the loose and no proof of its existence, Dale must search for the truth to clear his name. This short early-reader story blends suspense and mystery as the events unfold.
