Lilli-Pilli's Sister. Lilli-Pilli's mother is expecting a new baby, and Lilli-Pilli believes the baby will be a sister because she feels it in her wings. She asks birds and butterflies in the forest, and they each have their own feelings about whether the baby will be a brother or sister. The story shows Lilli-Pilli preparing a tree-bark cradle and deciding she will love the new sibling no matter its gender.
