Dirty Bertie: Germs!

When Bertie's sister comes down with chickenpox, he hatches a plan to catch it so he won't have to admit he didn't do his homework. This collection of three stories follows the mischievous Bertie as he gets into trouble at school, partners with Gran for a dance competition, and faces a surprisingly tough new babysitter. The short chapters and silly situations make it a fun read for newly independent readers.
