Series Timmy Failure

Description

Timmy Failure is an eleven-year-old boy who runs his own detective agency called Total Failure, Inc., with his partner Total, a lazy polar bear. Hoping to earn enough money to help his mother with the family bills, Timmy takes on cases around town. Their detective business faces challenges from a college-bound spy and a four-foot-tall girl whom Timmy refuses to acknowledge. The story is set in a contemporary town where Timmy operates his detective agency.

Quick Summary

Timmy Failure thinks he's the greatest detective in history, except he solves absolutely no real mysteries and his "cases" are completely absurd, which makes this one of the funniest books kids will ever read. Kids will crack up at Timmy's delusional confidence, his oblivious narration, Total the polar bear's silent judgmental stare, and the mock evidence pages that make it feel like reading an illustrated crime file gone wrong. If your kid loves the Diary of a Track and Field Titann 8-Bit Warrior: An Unofficial Minecraft Adventure a Wimpy Kid humor or the weird logic of Captain Underpants and the Preposterous Plight of the Purple Potty People, Timmy Failure delivers the same laugh-out-loud energy with added illustrated mystery vibes. Perfect for kids in grades 4-6 who enjoy silly, confident narrators who fail spectacularly while somehow staying completely convinced of their own genius.
