About this book
Elsie Cole is an uncool high school student who is constantly reminded of her status by Kitty and her friends, while her crush Guy remains unaware of her existence. When Charmaine arrives in town, the two girls join a hip-hop class together and enter a talent competition where they must compete against Kitty. The story offers a modern twist on the Cinderella fairy tale.
