About this book
In this retelling of the classic fairy tale, a wicked fairy, angry over not being invited to the princess's christening, casts a spell that causes the princess to fall into a deep sleep for one hundred years. A brave prince then journeys through an enchanted forest, overcomes the fairy's obstacles, and awakens the princess with a kiss. The story, illustrated for early readers, introduces themes of good versus evil and the power of love.
