About this book
The book follows Penelope "Penny Dreadful" Jones, a middle school student who believes she is a "Magnet for Disaster" because her well-intentioned plans often go hilariously wrong. The collection contains three short stories where Penny attempts to become a hairdresser, adopts a stray dog, and navigates a school inspection. Her misadventures include accidentally covering her cousin in superglue and teaching a stolen dog to speak Russian.
