About this book
Bernie Bridges and his friends at the Rotten School are stuck with the new, ultra-strict Mr. Skruloose, who threatens their fun. Determined to bring back their favorite teacher, Mrs. Heinie, they cook up a plan to get rid of the new teacher. As their schemes go hilariously awry, the story turns into a lively early-grade adventure about friendship, mischief, and dealing with a tough authority figure.
