The Games Player of Zob

On a rainy afternoon, three friends Miles, Jack, and Kate are looking for something to do when a strange visitor from the planet Zob appears and proposes a game. The alien's challenge quickly turns dangerous, because the Games Player of Zob is a sore loser who punishes any loss with escalating, life-threatening consequences. As the stakes rise, the children must use their wits to outplay the extraterrestrial opponent before the game spirals out of control. The story mixes sci-fi adventure with the suspense of a high-stakes contest.
