The Folk of the Faraway Tree (modern edition)

In this third book of the Faraway Tree series, siblings Joe, Beth, and Frannie take their skeptical cousin Connie to visit the magical Faraway Tree while her mother is sick. Connie refuses to believe in the enchanted tree or its magical inhabitants, including Moonface, Saucepan Man, and Silky the fairy, even after the Angry Pixie throws ink at her. The children and their friends discover which new land has arrived at the top of the tree and work together to help Connie believe in the magic around her. This is a modern edition of the original story with some updated text.
